Sam Wraight

Sam Wraight is a highly experienced engineering professional with expertise in electrical, instrumentation, and control systems across various sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Asset Development Engineer at Origin Energy since August 2023, Sam previously held the position of Senior ICET Engineer at Santos Ltd, where leadership was provided for the ICET discipline engineering on the APF Tie-In project in Papua New Guinea. With a substantial tenure at Tengizchevroil, Sam worked as the Lead Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Engineer on significant projects in Kazakhstan. Past roles at Atkins and Origin Energy, where Sam contributed to major gas and water treatment facility projects, showcase a strong background in engineering design, project management, and technical support. Sam holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Queensland University of Technology, completed in 2009.
