Scott Ison

Scott Ison has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Group Manager for Future Energy and Business Development at Origin Energy since July 2015, following a previous role as Group Manager for Strategy and Development. Prior to this, Scott held the position of General Manager for Commercial Analysis and Regulation at Alinta Energy from June 2011 to June 2015. Scott's career at Origin Energy began in March 1998, where various roles included Manager for Commercial Analysis and Valuations, Manager for Energy Markets Analysis, Manager for Forecasting, and Energy Analyst until May 2011. Scott Ison holds a Master of Business Law from the University of Sydney (2008-2010), a Master of Economics from Macquarie University (1993), and a Bachelor of Economics from The Australian National University (1990-1992), with initial education at Hurlstone Agricultural High School, completing the HSC from 1984 to 1989.
