Daniel Kaplan

Daniel Kaplan is an accomplished design leader with extensive experience across multiple roles and industries. Currently serving as Head of Design at Origin since April 2024, Kaplan previously held the position of Head of Design at Highline Beta from January 2022 to April 2024. Kaplan has also worked as Director of Design at Browze and Creative Director at RBC, where roles included leading the Product Design Practice and RBC Ventures. As a co-founder of Wellspent and founder of CanopyCo, Kaplan has demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit. Additional experience includes product design at Playground and creative direction at Jewlr. Educational background includes a BA in Sociology from Ryerson University and postgraduate studies in Corporate Communications and Public Relations at Fanshawe College.
