John Pora

John Pora has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. John currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Original Shift, a Salesforce CPQ & Billing consulting firm. Prior to this role, they were the Founder of Project Lunch, a not-for-profit organization focused on providing nutritious lunches to students in public schools.

John has also held positions such as Advisory Board Member at PS Principles, Managing Director at Simplus, and Chief Operating Officer and Partner at CirrusOne (now Simplus). At Aria Systems, they served as the Vice President of Global Professional Services and led a transformation to improve margins and build a strong professional services team.

Before that, John worked as the Vice President of Professional Services at Oracle/BigMachines, where they were responsible for delivering enterprise SaaS solutions. Additionally, they served as the Director of Creative Technology Services at EyeWonder and Manager of Technical Services Program Management at Open Text. John started their career as a Manager at The North Highland Company. Throughout their career, John has demonstrated expertise in sales, delivery, customer success, and leadership in the professional services industry.

John Pora completed their education at the University of Miami Herbert Business School. From 1990 to 1994, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a major in Psychology. Following this, they pursued higher studies and earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from the same university, completing their studies from 1994 to 1996. In addition to their academic qualifications, John has also obtained additional certifications. In June 2005, they received a certification in Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute. More recently, in March 2020, they obtained a certification as a DocuSign eSignature Implementation Consultant from Simplus.
