Johnny Fernandes is the Chief Financial Officer at Origin. Johnny has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting.

Johnny began their career as an Audit Manager with HJ Heinz. Johnny then became a Manager in the Underwriting & Statistics department at Domestic & General. In January 1996, they joined Coty as Senior Vice President, Corporate - Working Capital. In this role, they were responsible for establishing a worldwide working capital model / reduction program, working closely with commercial units, plants and global procurement. Johnny was successful in lowering trade receivable days from ~55 to ~40 and raising trade payable days from ~65 to ~72 (half-year effect). These improvements occurred across all regions.

In addition to their work in reducing working capital, Johnny also led a project to create an offshore, shared service center for North America. This project was projected to save $12MM annually with an IRR exceeding 100%. However, the project was canceled due to Coty's impending IPO.

More recently, Johnny participated in due diligence and post-acquisition integration of TJoy, a skincare brand in China.

Johnny Fernandes has a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of St Andrews and is a Chartered Accountant from ICAEW.

They work with Kathleen Bannon - VP, Marketing, Janice Kruse - VP, Regulatory, and David Dantzker - Vice Chairman & Chief Medical Officer. Johnny Fernandes reports to Michael Preston, Chairman & CEO. and Leigh Gourmand - VP, Finance & Controller reports to Johnny Fernandes.
