Terry Treadwell

Chief Clinical Officer Designate at Origin

Dr. Terry Treadwell is a vascular and general surgeon who practiced surgery for 20 years and wound care for an additional 20 years. He has served as Editor in Chief and now Emeritus Editor in Chief to the journal, Wounds. He is a Past-President of the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC) and was chosen a Founding Fellow of the AAWC. He has also served as a consultant and lecturer for 3M, Arch Therapeutics, Inc., and other companies. He has served as Vice-President of the Wound and Lymphedema Council of the World Health Organization since 2011. He has served as a Member of the Safety and Data Committees for four national and international research firms. He has been an investigator for over 45 clinical trials in wound care and has authored over 80 publications and book chapters. He received his received his M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and his training in general and vascular surgery at the Scott and White Memorial Hospital.
