Mitchell Davis

Mitchell Davis is currently the Flexibility and Markets Development Lead at Orion NZ Ltd, where they lead the development and trial of innovative market solutions to incentivize demand-side flexibility. They are a second-year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Canterbury, having previously earned a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours. In addition to their academic pursuits, Mitchell has gained diverse experience through roles such as Project Engineer at DETA and Mechanical Engineering Intern at Meridian Energy. They have also excelled in tutoring, completing over 80 hours of voluntary teaching, which honed their communication skills and fueled their passion for learning. In their spare time, Mitchell enjoys playing hockey and was recently involved in the selection process for the IU21 NZ hockey team.
