Erik Welf

Erik Welf is an experienced professional in the field of pharmacology and systems biology, currently serving as the Director and Head of Integrative Systems Biology at Orion Pharma since October 2024. Previously, Erik held the position of Principal Quantitative Systems Pharmacologist at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals from June 2021 to September 2024, where collaboration with clinical and preclinical teams facilitated innovative solutions for oncology drug development. From January 2012 to June 2021, Erik worked as a Research Faculty member at UT Southwestern Medical Center, managing a team of scientists focused on cancer biology through advanced microscopy and modeling. Erik's academic background includes a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware and a BS in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from North Carolina State University. Earlier experiences include a postdoctoral position at North Carolina State University and an internship in pharmacokinetics at Avantix Laboratories.
