Matthew Aronoff is a chemical biologist specializing in organic synthesis, bioconjugation, peptide synthesis, and bioorthogonal reactions. They earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Biology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Organic Chemistry at ETH Zürich. Currently, they serve as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at the University of New Mexico and lead Chemical Biology at Orion Pharma. Matthew has also held positions as a Senior Scientist at ETH Zürich and an HHMI Teaching Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
