Pravin Sorte

Pravin Sorte has a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, with experience in various roles and responsibilities. Pravin started their career in 2004 as an Officer-R&D (Formulations) at Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc., India, where they focused on tasks such as literature search, preparation of development strategies, and technology transfer of formulation products. In 2007, they joined Indoco Remedies Ltd as an Assistant Manager - R&D (Formulations), where they led a team in the development of formulation drug products for different markets and coordinated with international marketing departments. From 2011 onwards, Pravin Sorte worked at FinOrion Pharma India Pvt. Ltd., where they served as the Head of Pharmaceuticals, overseeing commercial product development, lifecycle management, and global operations. In this role, they managed a team of 27 members and acted as a formulation expert, project manager, and leader.

Pravin Sorte completed their education with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Pharmaceuticals & Fine Chemicals from UDCT between the years 2000 and 2004. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Pharmaceuticals at United Business Institutes, Belgium Europe, from 2010 to 2011.
