Michael Ramirez has a long and varied work experience. michael began their career in 1987 as a Merchandising Representative for E. & J. Gallo Winery, completing the renowned Gallo Sales Training Program and being promoted to the company's Major Chain's Division. In 1988, they joined Lockheed Martin in a Purchasing/Contracts role, serving in progressively-responsible leadership roles until 1998. michael then moved to Herman Miller, where they held various roles from 1998 to 2018, including Executive Vice President - People, Places, and Administration, Senior Vice President - People, Places, & Administration, Vice President - Sales Operations, Director - Better World, Director - Inclusiveness & Diversity, and Director - Supply Management. In 2018, they joined Total Impact Consulting as Principal. In 2019, they joined both DeWys Manufacturing as Advisory Board Member and ORKA AUTOMATION as Partner & President. Finally, in 2022, they joined Urabaneer as Advisory Board Member.

Michael Ramirez attended Christian Brothers High School from 1979 to 1983 and then Saint Mary's College of California from 1983 to 1987, where they received a Bachelor of Science in Business/Economics.
