Håkon Mageli

Håkon Mageli has over 25 years of experience in the corporate communications field. Håkon began their career as a journalist for the Norwegian Business Daily, before moving on to Nora Foods where they held various positions including Secretary to the Board and Director. In 1995, they joined Orkla Foods as Director of Corporate Communications, and remained with the company until 2008 when they were appointed Vice President of Corporate Affairs for Orkla Brands. In their current role as EVP of Communications & Corporate Affairs for Orkla, Mageli is responsible for corporate communication, trade policies, issues management, crisis management, food safety & consumer trust, nutrition & health.

Håkon Mageli has a background in leadership from the University of Virginia, and international management from BI Norwegian Business School. Håkon also has a certificate of advanced study in int. insurance, risk management, and cross cultural communication from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
