John Einar Eckle

John Einar Eckle has extensive experience in tax law, currently serving as SVP Group Tax at Orkla ASA since April 2018. Prior to this role, John held various positions at Aker Solutions, including Head of Group Tax and Head of Tax - Subsea, from January 2009 to March 2018. John's career also includes a tenure as Tax Manager/Group Tax Manager at Aibel AS, where responsibilities included advising on international projects and intra-group transactions. Earlier experience encompasses an associate role at Advokatfirmaet Grette DA, focusing on tax issues and Mergers and Acquisitions, and a position as Senior Executive Officer at Skattedirektoratet, dealing with corporate taxation. John began a professional journey as a lecturer at Universitetet i Tromsø, teaching security law, bankruptcy law, and contract law.
