Kendal Smith is a seasoned professional in the mining industry with extensive experience in drill and blast operations. Currently serving as a Long Hole Drill & Blast Supervisor at Orla Mining Ltd since March 2025, Kendal previously held similar supervisory roles at Newmont Corporation from June 2019 to March 2025, along with positions as Senior Engineer Projects and Senior Engineer. Prior to that, Kendal worked at Goldcorp from January 2013 to June 2019, progressing from Mine Planner to Senior Team Lead, and also had an early role as a Mine Planner co-op student.
