Matthew Devita has extensive experience in basketball analytics and data analysis, currently serving as the Director of Basketball Systems for the Orlando Magic since September 2016, with previous roles including Manager of Basketball Systems, Basketball Data Analyst, and Basketball Analytics Associate. Prior experience includes a Business Analyst Internship with the Phoenix Suns and a Business Strategy Internship with the Orlando Magic, where insights were delivered to various departments using SAS and SQL. At ESPN, Matthew provided statistical support for NBA topics and game coverage, while earlier roles involved working as a Statistical Consultant for Loyola University Chicago’s Men's Basketball team, and as a Data Analyst Intern with STATS LLC. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and Sport Management from Loyola University Chicago.
