Declan Roche

Declan Roche is an experienced professional in the field of health and safety, currently serving as the Global Head of Health & Safety at Ornua since February 2022, where efforts have been focused on developing robust management systems to enhance workplace safety. Prior to this role, Declan held various positions including Regional EHS Manager and EMEA Occupational Health Manager at Baxter International Inc., overseeing environmental health and safety across numerous pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing sites. Additional experiences include teaching as an Adjunct Lecturer in Environmental Health and Safety and Energy Management at the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland, as well as roles at Three Ireland, Telefónica Ireland Ltd, and Bruce Shaw Facilities Management. Declan's educational background includes a PGrad Diploma in Fire Safety Practice and a B.Sc (Hons) in Occupational Safety & Health, with ongoing studies towards an MSc in Managing Risk & System Change at Trinity College Dublin.
