Matthew Flavin

Matthew Flavin is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in trade finance and risk management. Currently serving as Group Trade Finance Manager at Ornua since February 2023, Matthew previously held the position of Finance and Risk Manager at CMC - Coal Marketing DAC from August 2007 to March 2022. Prior experience includes consultancy roles across various industries and a tenure at KPMG as an Audit Senior. Matthew is a qualified chartered accountant, having completed the ACA qualification in 2004 and most recently earned a Certificate in Sustainability Strategy, Risk and Reporting from Chartered Accountants Ireland in 2023. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Commerce (International) from University College Dublin and completed an Erasmus year at Universitat Politècnica de València.
