Orobit introduces a new paradigm for Bitcoin programmability by deploying the Simple Contract Language (SCL) as a novel execution framework on Bitcoin's Layer 1 and Lightning Network.

Orobit enables scalable, trust-minimized, and cost-efficient smart contract functionality while retaining Bitcoin's unparalleled security and decentralization. By anchoring contracts on Bitcoin and leveraging off-chain computation, Orobit empowers developers to build DeFi applications, tokenization protocols, and advanced NFTs without compromising Bitcoin's core principles.

Orobit addresses these challenges through the Simple Contract Language (SCL), a groundbreaking framework designed to enable programmability on Bitcoin without requiring bridges or altering its base layer.

Orobit combines Bitcoin’s unparalleled security with scalable off-chain computation and Lightning Network integration to deliver a robust framework for DeFi, tokenization, and NFTs. With Simple Contract Language (SCL), Orobit bridges the gap between Bitcoin’s foundational principles and the advanced programmability needed for the next wave of decentralized innovation.
