Devan Wagner, P.Eng, currently serves as the Satellite Systems Engineer at OroraTech, leading the technical efforts for the WildfireSat Constellation Mission since September 2025. Previously, from January 2021 to August 2025, Devan worked at MDA as an Engineer in Space Systems Design, focusing on the Canadarm3 program, particularly in defining interface requirements and modeling robotic operations. Devan's experience also includes various roles at McMaster NEUDOSE from February 2015 to May 2022, such as Engineering & Co-Project Manager overseeing a large technical team, and Team Lead for the Attitude Determination and Control System. In addition, Devan has accumulated extensive teaching experience at McMaster University across several engineering courses and has contributed to research projects in areas including nuclear energy needs and photovoltaic device imaging. Devan holds a Master of Applied Science in Engineering Physics and a Bachelor of Engineering and Management (B.Eng Mgmt) from McMaster University.
