Elaine Kamara

Elaine Kamara is currently the Medical Director for the UK and Ireland at Orphalan, a position they began in 2023. They have extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having previously served as a Medical Manager and MSL hybrid role at Roche Pharmaceuticals from 2017 to 2020, and worked as a Medical Scientist focusing on COVID at Gilead Sciences from 2020 to 2022. Prior to these roles, they were involved in various capacities in oncology and HIV sales and medical roles, including senior positions at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals and Roche. Elaine holds a degree in Immunology from North East Surrey College of Technology, earned in 1979.
