Massimo Boriero is an accomplished commercial leader with over 30 years of experience in the biotech and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at Orphalan, Massimo is responsible for developing and implementing the Global Commercial strategy. As a Senior Advisor at Orphan Now, Massimo leverages extensive expertise to achieve commercial goals at both Country and European levels. Previous roles include Vice-President and General Manager at Akcea Therapeutics, Head of Europe - Commercial at Spark Therapeutics, President for EMEA at Aegerion Pharmaceuticals, and various leadership positions at Genzyme Corp. Massimo holds a Laurea in Medicina e Chirurgia from Università degli Studi di Torino.
