Omar Kamlin

Omar Kamlin is currently the Chief Medical Officer at Orphalan, where they lead Global Medical Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, and Clinical Development. Prior to this role, they served as a Consultant Neonatal Paediatrician at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne, contributing significantly to studies in the delivery room, an area known for its lack of evidence, and helping establish a renowned newborn research program. Omar graduated from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School (Imperial College), University of London, and has extensive paediatric training, including a research fellowship at the Royal Women’s Hospital, where they completed a DMedSci thesis in 2010.
