Thomas Sammut

Thomas Sammut is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical and regulatory operations field. Currently serving in Global Regulatory Operations at Orphalan since January 2024, Thomas has previously held key positions such as Production Manager, Validation Officer, and Quality Assurance Officer at MGC Pharmaceuticals Ltd. from February 2022 to January 2024. Thomas also accumulated substantial experience as a Quality Assurance Officer and Specialist at Natrix Sciences Ltd. and ZenPharm Ltd. Moreover, Thomas gained foundational experience in the pharmacy sector as a Pharmacy Assistant at the Rabat Pharmacy Group and contributed to various project initiatives as Project Coordinator for Erasmus Student Network Malta. Thomas's leadership skills were demonstrated as President of the Malta Pharmaceutical Students' Association, and significant international engagement was achieved as International Officer for EPSA and IPSF. Educational credentials include a Master of Pharmacy and a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Malta, complementing a solid foundation in Biology and Chemistry from earlier schooling.
