Emma Squires

Emma Squires is an accomplished professional in the field of sports nutrition and exercise science, currently serving as an Orreco Technician since July 2022 and an Associate Lecturer at Northumbria University since October 2021. Emma has experience as a Performance Nutritionist for Darlington Mowden Park Rugby Football Club, collaborating with athletes and support staff to enhance nutritional strategies, and previously worked with England and Great Britain Hockey as a Sports Nutritionist. Emma has also contributed to the sports nutrition field through various volunteer roles, including work with Leeds Beckett University and the Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme. Education includes a current pursuit of a PhD at Northumbria University focused on high polyphenol fruits in performance and recovery, complemented by degrees in Sport and Exercise Nutrition and Sports and Exercise Science.
