Daniel Sweeney is an experienced fire engineer with a comprehensive background in the construction and fire safety sectors. Currently serving as a fire engineer at ORS since May 2020, Sweeney previously held roles as a fire engineer and trainee architect at OCFPM, where supervision of civil groundwork for a tram line project in Dublin was a key responsibility. Prior experiences include positions as a graduate fire engineer at Fusion Fire Engineering and managing director at MTD Sweeney, overseeing structural steel, roofing, and cladding projects throughout Ireland. Early career roles as a foreman at Bonner Engineering Ltd and LMC Ltd involved project supervision, safety compliance, and staff management. Sweeney holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Fire Safety Engineering from Ulster University and Letterkenny Institute of Technology, respectively.
