Adele Tharani

Adele Tharani is a seasoned professional in sustainability and community relations, currently serving as Commercial Sustainability Manager at Ørsted since June 2022, where responsibilities include leading global sustainability strategies that enhance renewable energy projects and societal impact. Previously, Tharani held various significant positions, including Senior Expert Community Relations & Sustainability at OMV, and has contributed to European Commission-funded research projects as a Research Fellow at WU. Tharani's expertise extends to advisory roles, such as serving on the Advisory Panel for the Capitals Coalition since January 2024. Educational credentials include a recent engagement at Harvard University and an MSc in Public Policy & Human Development from the United Nations University-MERIT, complemented by a BA (Hons) in Sociology with Social Policy from the University of Warwick.
