Ailsa Nicol

Ailsa Nicol has extensive experience in public affairs and policy development, beginning as a Policy & Campaigns Assistant at Mind from October 2009 to April 2010 and subsequently serving as a Policy & Public Affairs Officer for the MEND Programme until August 2012. Ailsa's career progressed with a role as Senior Consultant at Weber Shandwick from August 2012 to July 2017, where expertise was developed in political consultancy and stakeholder engagement, particularly in the energy sector. Ailsa continued to enhance communication skills as Communications Manager at the International Chamber of Commerce from January 2018 to October 2020, and later took on the position of Associate Director, Public Affairs at Edelman in March 2021. Currently, Ailsa holds the title of Head of Public Affairs, Scotland at Ørsted since September 2022. Ailsa holds a Master of Arts (MA Hons) in Politics & International Relations and a Master of Research in Social Research, both from the University of Aberdeen, with the latter achieved with distinction.
