Alex Matthews has extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly in wind turbine technology. From February 2021 to April 2024, Alex worked at Ørsted as a Wind Turbine Technician and later as a HV Senior Specialist focused on 66kV SAP. Prior to this role, Alex held various positions at Siemens Energy as an Industrial Electrician (August 2014 - November 2018) and at Siemens as an Overhaul Technician (November 2018 - July 2019). Alex also gained valuable experience as a Wind Turbine Technician at Ecotricity from July 2019 to January 2021. Alex holds an HND in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Lincoln College, obtained between 2014 and 2017.
