Alistair Laban

Alistair Laban serves as the Head of Consents for UK Development at Ørsted since March 2023, and simultaneously holds the position of Director at Consenta Consultants, a consultancy specializing in marine and environmental consents for the infrastructure sector. Prior to these roles, Alistair worked as Associate Director at Mace, overseeing consents for the Euston Station project as part of the HS2 initiative, and as Consent Coordinator at Schofield Lothian, leading consent processes for the East Thames Tideway Tunnel project. Alistair's career began with roles focused on environmental management, including positions as an Environment Officer at the Environment Agency and Energy Efficiency Officer at Raven Housing Trust, complemented by an MSc in Global Environmental Change from King's College London and a BSc in Geography from Newcastle University.
