Allan Harkins

Allan Harkins is a seasoned planning lead in the offshore wind sector, currently serving as a Senior Planner at Ørsted, focusing on the Sunrise Wind project in New York. Prior to this, Allan held the position of Planning Lead at ScottishPower Renewables, managing the EAHUB during its Pre-FID phase and coordinating multiple offshore wind farms totaling 2,900MW of capacity. Allan's earlier experience includes various roles at BAE Systems, ranging from Mechanical Fitter to Principal Project Planner, which provided a solid foundation in project management. They earned a HNC in Mechanical Engineering from Teesside University and additional planning and project management qualifications from Clydebank College and PETA Training Portsmouth.
