Anders Hust Augustesen

Anders Hust Augustesen is an experienced geotechnical specialist with a robust background in offshore wind research and advanced laboratory testing. Currently serving as Lead Geotechnical Specialist at Ørsted since January 2018, Anders previously held significant roles at COWI from 2009 to 2018, including Chief Specialist in Geotechnical Engineering. Anders's academic career includes a tenure at Aalborg University from 2001 to 2009, where roles included Assistant Professor and research positions. Anders earned a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering from Aalborg University in 2006 and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the same institution in 2001, complemented by studies at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute and Northeastern University.
