Andy Cheng

Andy Cheng is a Wind Technical Manager at Ørsted since January 2023, previously serving as a Senior Energy Analyst. Before joining Ørsted, Andy Cheng spent over a decade at Natural Power, progressing from Wind Analyst to Principal Energy Analyst. Expertise includes wind resource assessment, layout design, energy yield assessment, and anemometry management, with significant contributions to wind farm visualizations. Prior experience includes a summer placement at Greenspace R, conducting an energy use audit for a college campus, and a research fellowship at Politecnico di Torino. Andy Cheng holds an MSc with Distinction in Renewable Energy Systems from the University of Strathclyde and a MEng in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Glasgow.
