Aoife Duignan, CEng, is a chartered mechanical engineer with 15 years of experience in the offshore wind and oil industries. Currently serving as the Senior Offshore Cable Installation Manager at Ørsted since 2018, Aoife is integral to the Hornsea 02 offshore windfarm project, focusing on installation contractor management and technical interface for cable protection systems. Previously, Aoife held roles as a Project Engineer at Island Offshore and as a Principal Engineer at 2H Offshore, where they managed technical assurance projects and led teams in cable and riser installation. Aoife earned a BEng in Mechanical Engineering with 1st Class Honours from the University of Galway.
