Areta Jez

Areta Jez is a Senior Legal Counsel at Ørsted, starting in April 2024, with prior experience as an Associate at Mintz from December 2021 to March 2024 and as an Associate at White & Case LLP from September 2019 to November 2021. Areta began at White & Case as a Law Clerk and subsequently as a Summer Associate. Professional experience includes drafting and reviewing contracts in Project Finance, Capital Markets, and Mergers and Acquisitions, as well as conducting legal research on international oil and gas contracts and pro-bono work for juvenile clients. Previous internships include positions at IDLO, The Libra Group, the U.S. Department of State, and Price Benowitz, LLP. Areta holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from American University, complemented by a Certificate in Management from The Wharton School.
