Arne Matthiesen

Arne Matthiesen is a Chief Financial Analyst at Ørsted, with experience spanning from November 2011 to the present. Matthiesen has held various roles within the company, including Senior Lead Specialist, Senior Manager, Manager, and Team Lead, focusing on financial modeling, valuation, and commercial support for numerous wind farm projects such as Greater Changhua 1-4 and Costal Virginia Offshore Wind. Additionally, Matthiesen has provided valuation support for several Offshore Transmission Owner (OFTO) transactions and has a keen interest in UK offshore transmission charging methodology and the UK Contracts for Difference (CfD) regime. Prior to Ørsted, Matthiesen worked as an Analyst at De Gule Sider A/S and Danske Bank A/S. Matthiesen holds an M.Sc in Economics and Management from Aarhus University and has also attended the London School of Economics for summer studies in Financial Markets.
