Ben Westwood is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, having qualified in 2008 with PwC in London. They have held key financial roles at EDF Energy Renewables, Wellcome Trust, SmartestEnergy, and have been with Ørsted since 2014, where they currently serve as the Programme Financial Director for Hornsea 3 and Finance Business Partner for the UK region. Throughout their career, Ben has been instrumental in managing financial operations for major offshore wind projects, including Hornsea 1 and the Walney Extension. They relocated to Copenhagen in 2017 before returning to London in 2020.
