Birgitte Ventrup is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in IFRS and financial controlling. Currently serving as a Senior Lead IFRS Specialist and Senior Lead Financial Controller at Ørsted since April 2023, Birgitte has previously held the position of Lead Financial Controller at DONG Energy from August 2016 to August 2023. Birgitte began the career as a revisor at PwC from September 1996 to September 1998 and continued as a statsautoriseret revisor at Ankjær-Jensen and Redmark from September 1998 to July 2016. Birgitte holds a cand.merc.aud degree from Copenhagen Business School and an HD in accounting from the same institution, along with an HHX degree from Niels Brock.
