Brian Geertsen is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in the offshore wind energy sector, currently serving as a project manager at Ørsted since November 2017. Responsibilities include managing yard activities for the OSS package and serving as deputy project manager for the Ocean Wind 01 OSS. With a strong technical background, Brian has held various roles including technical project manager for several key projects, such as Energy Island DK and HOW01, and has expertise in the design and integration of electrical systems in offshore substations. Prior experience includes roles at DONG Energy, where responsibilities encompassed detailed design and layout of electrical systems, as well as an engineering internship focused on a biomass facility. Brian's educational credentials include an engineering degree in electrical engineering from the Engineering College of Copenhagen and an electrician certification from Københavns tekniske skole.
