Cameron Moffat currently serves as the Commercial Fisheries Manager at Ørsted, starting in August 2022, and is a member of the Fisheries Innovation and Sustainability Stakeholder Committee. Prior experience includes a role as Sustainability Manager at Young's Seafood from April 2018 to August 2022, where Cameron chaired the Project UK plaice and lemon sole Fishery Improvement Project and co-chaired the BFFF Special Interest Group on Sustainability. Additional contributions to the seafood industry include membership in the Seafood Industry Leadership Group and participation in the Fisheries Innovation Scotland Technical Advisory Committee. Cameron also held positions as Project Support Officer and Science and Standards Administrator at the Marine Stewardship Council and worked as a Recruitment Consultant at Allstaff Recruitment. Earlier experience includes a Divemaster Internship at Evolution Dive and Beach Resort. Cameron earned a BSc in Marine Biology from Bangor University from 2012 to 2015 and completed secondary education at Sharnbrook Upper School & Community College.
