Carl Jones

Carl Jones has extensive experience in wind turbine maintenance and service, currently serving as WT4 Supervisor for both the South Fork Wind Farm and Race Bank Wind Farm at Ørsted since January 2017. Prior to Ørsted, Carl held various roles, including Level 5 Wind Turbine Service Technician at Siemens and Wind Turbine Service Technician at WINDTEX, where responsibilities included maintenance and diagnostics on Nordex turbines. Earlier experience encompasses plant fitting at Lend Lease, vehicle mechanics and MOT testing at CARS Automotive Service and Repair, and service in the British Army as a vehicle mechanic. Carl's technical skills are complemented by qualifications from the School of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering and Horizon Training Ltd, alongside foundational experience in fabrication and non-destructive testing.
