Christopher Smith

Christopher Smith has extensive experience in the wind energy and electrical maintenance sectors. Since October 2018, Christopher has worked as a wind turbine technician at Ørsted. Prior to this role, Christopher spent a decade at Siemens as a wind turbine technician, beginning as a trainee technician and participating in the commissioning of 3.6 MW turbines. Earlier experience includes serving as a shift electrician at Youngs Seafood Limited and Britton Merlin, focusing on maintenance and efficiency in food processing and flexible packaging environments. Christopher's career began with an apprenticeship in electro-mechanical engineering at Lewis Berl, leading to skilled status in repairing and overhauling rotating electrical equipment. Educational qualifications include an HNC in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Grimsby College and GCSEs from Healing Comprehensive.
