Colin Mochan

Colin Mochan is an accomplished Senior Trader at Ørsted with a proven track record in proprietary trading, particularly in managing U.K. shape and delivery exposure to achieve Target Prop P&L. Prior experience includes senior trading roles at InterGen and SSE plc, where Colin excelled in closing profitable contracts, structuring agreements, and leading the Wholesale Shadow Board to communicate complex commercial and technical concepts to C-suite executives. Transitioning effectively from trading to business development, Colin has demonstrated leadership through successful presentations that challenged standard assumptions, as well as managing teams in various trading capacities, optimizing portfolio strategies across multiple energy commodities. Colin holds a Master of Science in Economics from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Glasgow.
