Eamonn Boland

Eamonn Boland is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Senior Director of Business Development and Growth at Ørsted since July 2021. Eamonn oversees the development and operational activities for Ørsted's Spain business as well as European storage and flexibility initiatives. Prior roles at Ørsted include Senior Director of M&A and Business Development for Onshore Europe and Director of New Markets and Strategy in the same division. Eamonn's experience extends to Brookfield Renewable, where responsibilities included heading trading and data analytics, and at Baringa Partners, where significant contributions involved commercial advisory for renewable asset transactions. Eamonn's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Futures from Imperial College London and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from University College Cork.
