Emma Ford

Emma Ford is an accomplished leader in the energy sector, currently serving as Vice President and UK West Head of Generation at Ørsted since February 2024. Previously, Emma held numerous key positions at National Grid from April 2016 to February 2024, including Operations Director for West Midlands and various project director roles in construction and strategy. Prior to National Grid, Emma worked at E.ON as UK Onshore Wind Development Manager and senior project developer from May 2011 to March 2016. Emma began a career in consulting at AECOM, where Emma served as a senior consultant from July 2007 to May 2011. Emma holds an MSci in Environmental Geology from Durham University, earned between 2003 and 2007.
