Fanis Sofianopoulos

Fanis Sofianopoulos is an electrical engineer with extensive experience in assessing offshore wind projects globally from both fundamental and business perspectives. Currently employed at Ørsted as a Project Manager for Project Assessment, they support early-stage projects while also performing financial modeling as a Financial Analyst. Fanis has previously held roles in research and engineering, including positions at ConWX and the National Technical University of Athens, where they developed data-driven forecasting methods and contributed to PV power system optimization. They hold a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and an MSc in Wind Energy.
