Garrett Hanrahan

Garrett Hanrahan is a skilled asset manager with experience at Ørsted since July 2020, holding positions from Associate Asset Manager to Asset Manager. Prior to this role, Garrett contributed to research as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Virginia Fluids Research Innovation Lab, focusing on proposals for innovative wind turbine technologies and co-authoring a scholarly article on Liquid Metal Battery systems. Additionally, Garrett gained valuable insight into the wind energy sector as a Project Engineering Intern at Globeleq, where leadership in identifying potential wind power sites across multiple African countries was a key achievement. Garrett holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia, completed in 2020.
