Hans Goverde is currently the Head of Wind Turbine Execution at Ørsted, where they oversee critical projects in the offshore wind sector. They previously served as a Senior Project Lead and Senior Project Engineer, focusing on significant offshore windfarm initiatives, including the South Fork Wind and Revolution Wind projects. Before joining Ørsted, Hans worked at Jan De Nul Group as a Project Engineer on the Formosa 2 Offshore Wind Farm and conducted research in PV module technology as a PhD candidate at imec. With a strong academic background, Hans earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering from KU Leuven and a Master of Science in Applied Physics from Eindhoven University of Technology. Additionally, they competed as a professional volleyball athlete for several years.
