Heidi Østergaard

Heidi Østergaard is a seasoned leader in digital innovation and artificial intelligence, currently serving as Senior Director and Head of Digital Innovation at Ørsted since March 2021. In this role, Heidi oversees a department of over 40 highly skilled individuals, driving AI strategy and fostering partnerships with industry and academia to enhance Ørsted's competitive edge. Prior to this, Heidi held the position of Director, focusing on advancing the company's digital strategy and launching the 'Digital Strategy 2025.' With experience as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, Heidi has managed various projects in digital strategy and transformation. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, complemented by an exchange program at UC San Diego.
