Helle Risbjerg Nielsen

Helle Risbjerg Nielsen serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of Group Risk Management at Ørsted since June 2018, overseeing the Enterprise Risk Management framework that addresses all top operational, financial, and non-financial risks across the organization. Prior to this role, Helle Nielsen held various positions at DONG Energy from April 2010 to June 2018, including Vice President of Risk Management & Market Analytics and Senior Director of Risk Management. Earlier in a career spanning from 2004 to 2010, Helle Nielsen worked in roles such as Risk Analyst at DONG Energy, Senior Energy Consultant at Allegro Development, and Equity Derivatives Accounting Analyst at Dekabank. Helle Nielsen received a Master of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School and is currently pursuing further education at Forsikringsakademiet.
