Jack Hunter, PhD, is a Senior Array Cable Engineer at Ørsted, where they focus on high voltage cable projects such as Hornsea 2 and Hornsea 3. Previously, Jack served as a Teaching Fellow at the University of Southampton, where they engaged in teaching, research, and commercial activities while managing the Tony Davies High Voltage Laboratory. With extensive experience in engineering roles at Mott MacDonald, Jack led diverse projects in cable design and technical advisory. They hold a PhD in Electrical Power Engineering from the University of Southampton, where they also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with First Class Honours.
